Please note The Springhouse restaurant has "welcome bikers" on their sign on all three locations. This restaurant is owned by a city council member that started the new ordinances and does not want bikers in MB but is glad to take you money at his businesses.
These sites provide lots of information of the businesses that really want you to attend and maps to avoid the city. Be safe! _________________ Heart In MB |

I heard that no events at all in the city of MB. My friends are in NMB and said hotels, restaurants, barefoot etc. are hosting all types of events. They are welcoming the bikers. I will leave Friday, i am sorry I dont know more about the events yet. I have searched high and low online and all I could find was the harley events. But the website has a GREAT map to avoid the city limits so we will not have to wear our helmets. also a list of a few businesses that say "welcome bikers" but actually are owned by city council members that started this BS to eliminate all bike rallies. Be sure to check out www.thesunnews.com for updates on the checkpoints etc. Have fun and be SAFE! See you soon! _________________ Heart In MB |

just don't go into Myrtle Beach's city limits. The "black money" should be spent at BLACK VENDORS. There are REALLY no maps that point you to the events that go on. I can say that at the North Myrtle Beach dragstrip, there will be motorcycle racing. In Atlantic Beach (THE CITY THAT HOSTS BLACK BIKE WEEK) There are always concerts, and lots of food, and drinks, and the police are A LOT more flexible. So, in a nutshell, Atlantic Beach, or North Myrtle Beach are the 2 cities IIIIIIIII will be in, But ATLANTIC BEACH, AND THE BLACK VENDORS is where IIIIIIII will be spending MY MONEY.. Myrtle Beach can kiss my ass! The businesses here don't deserve A PENNY!
DON'T SPEND MONEY IN MYRTLE BEACH!
TAKE YOUR MONEY TO ATLANTIC BEACH, OR THE DRAGSTRIP ON HIGHWAY 90 WHERE THE BLACK VENDORS ARE LOCATED. They REALLY NEED OUR SUPPORT. THEY ARE HAVING TO PAY STAGGERING FEES FOR LICENSE TO SELL, AND WE MUST SPEND OUR MONIES THERE! THANK YOU.. _________________ New to site. I am a 36 year old Myrtle Beach, SC. local. born/raised. |

Blackbusinessowner you said it all in a nutshell! We need to all spread the word to our families and friends that attend during the summer and continue to avoid spending ANY money in the city of MB for 09. Maybe the business owners in the city will finally step up to the plate and "earn" or beg for our business back. I have a friend that knows some of the business owners in the city and he told me that all the motels plan to triple their rates for the black week because they say we will pay anyway. That is not fair and I know we always pay more than the harley visitors which shows most of these motel owners disciminate. Last week, the harley riders avoided the city and I am sure the business owners regret not fighting for both bike ralloes revenue before now! But I really think we need to continue to support the boycott toward the city. I have emailed all my friends, black and white to NOT visit the city in 2009. Go North Myrtle or Atlantic Beach! We need to make our statement just like the harley folks did. I heard they had a "surprise" unannounced checkpoint outside of the dragstrip that had events last week. Be legal and safe!! _________________ Heart In MB |

It would be in the best interest of EVERYONE to begin planning NOW for BBW 2010.
I have always stayed in N.MB to avoid all the drama however MB will get none of my hard earned (State Furlough ) money !
I truly understand and support the entire mission of Atlantic Beach, we as a community must help the residence of Atlantic Beach. It is very simple SPEND your money only in North MB especially Atlantic Beach.
So everyone start getting your crew together find out who is in and who is out. Lets make 2010 and year to remember, lets show MB again in a even bigger way that if we are not welcomed neither is our MONEY. _________________ Live as if you were to die tomorrow
