Hey any of ya'll heard of new tires being "greasy" or havin some stuff on them that needs to be cleaned off before you ride on them. I remember readin a post somewhere about a dude buyin new tires and almost fuckin up his ride, first day out. _________________ Shiny side up!!!! |

Yeah man you got to be really careful on new tires when you first get them. Either burn the back ones out or put a few hundred miles on them b4 you really jump out there. So if you get a new pair b4 bike week. just put some time on them. _________________ You can't Pimp me, Im a Pimp Myself

| Yes there is some type of substance on the tires that need to be burned off first. I forgot how many miles but I would say get atleast 100 before you start leanin to the side real hard. I have had a couple of friends who got excited about the new tires and forgot about the rule and laid their bike down less than 10 miles from where they had the tires installed. |
